A bond referendum continues our district’s strategy of making thoughtful financial decisions that are based on research and careful planning.
The referendum addresses the highest priority infrastructure and facility improvements in the district in a fiscally responsible way.
Bond funding would allow the district to address the needs quickly by gaining upfront funding and efficiently by capturing state aid to offset the project costs.
If voters approve the referendum, payments on this investment would begin in August 2026.

The district has been able to allocate funding from outside the regular annual budget toward these projects:
Security enhancements to the door intercom, visitor management, cameras, security software, identification badges, and public address systems across the district
Infrastructure upgrades to the district’s information technology and cybersecurity systems such as increased internet speed and new server, electric service, battery backups, district website, network switches and wireless access points, email filtering system, multi-factor authentication, and firewall
Technology updates to complement curriculum and instruction such as a 1:1 student technology initiative, 1:1 classroom touch-screen boards, student safety management software, music tech, and Apple labs
Renovations at GHS of the Culinary Lab, front canopy, science labs, and Media Center
HVAC replacements of the classroom units in the GHS science labs and system conversion at Bowe Middle School
