I began my journey at Glassboro High School as a clinical intern (student teacher) in the Master of Science in Teaching: English at Rowan University and instantly connected with the students, staff, and community. My passion for literature and teaching started during my own high school experience. I can vividly recall the lessons from my AP Literature and history teachers. I hope to instill this same love of reading, writing and the world to my students. After completing the MST program, I officially joined the GHS teaching staff as an English teacher. Six years later and I'm still a proud member of the Bulldog family! I've expanded my role as a teacher to include GHS Cheerleading coach and (former) co-advisor of Renaissance. Go Bulldogs!
My husband and I welcomed my son, Max, in February 2020; he is a proud member of the GHS family. Max loves playing in the sand at the beach, exploring the outdoors and reading books just like me.
I also love....
Philadelphia sports teams (especially the Eagles)
The Harry Potter series
Starbucks
Books (surprised?)
