Daily Academic Schedule

Each course will post lessons and assignments that correspond with the recommended remote learning times:

  • 2 hours per week of core content instruction (per course)
  • 1 hour per week of elective instruction (per course)

Academic work can be done in any order as long as due dates are met. We offer a recommendation in the schedule above.

Weekly Assignments

All weekly assignments will be posted on the High School Remote Learning Site by course level.

On Mondays, students will login to their Google Classroom account for each course to see weekly details.

All course level assignments are consistent regardless of teacher.

Due dates will be posted for all assignments.

Access to Technology

We will be using Google Classroom as our method of posting and receiving academic work.

If a student needs non-digital assignments, please contact the student's teacher, counselor, or designated Assistant Principal.

Help Desk

If you are having technical problems, please log a Help Desk ticket and one of our IT team members will assist you.

Student Expectations


Keep up with weekly assignments & recommended daily academic schedule.

Check email & Google Classroom regularly.

Complete weekly reflection form each Friday.

Communicate the need for help with classroom teacher or counselor & schedule an appointment as needed.

Office hours will be held each week as designated by subject area on daily schedule & posted on Google Classroom pages.

Teachers will be available by email throughout the week and will respond in a reasonable time frame for help or questions outside of office hours.

Phone conversations or virtual meetings may be set up through Google Voice or Google Meet if needed.

Teacher Access and Communication

Accommodations

  • Students with disabilities will have classroom work accommodated by the special education provider who supports the core Academic Group. Any additional accommodations or specific needs will be addressed by the case managers during classroom/meeting time.

  • 504 students will have academic work accommodated by classroom teachers. Counselors will follow up as needed.

  • CI and ASD teachers will accommodate core academic work to meet the needs of the students in the ASD and CI classrooms.

  • ELL Students will have academic work accommodated by classroom teachers. ELL case manager will follow up as needed.
