TEACHERS must be logged into iCloud with their GPISD Managed Apple ID! This should already be the case with students. If you need your managed password reset, enter a work order in iiQ.

Here's the skinny:

View every student's screen in real time, and then tap to get a closer view.
Share an app or webpage instantly with every student's iPad.
Project/showcase student work via Screen Mirroring (AirPlay) when your iPad is connected to a projector.
Create Groups within a class for better personalized and collaborative learning.
Lock iPads completely when necessary.
Lock an app to guide student learning!

TWO OPTIONS:

Use the SKYWARD-rostered classes already loaded in the app - similar to Canvas.
- Rename your classes as needed for easier identification . . . especially SEMESTER 1 & 2.
- Delete Skyward courses with no students from previous years that clutter the Classroom Dashboard.
Create CUSTOM classes in Apple School Manager.
- Helpful for special groups (tutoring, etc.) when kids from multiple sections need to be combined in one class.

BONUS TIP:

Implement a class expectation that all tests/quizzes must be taken on GPISD-issued iPads and using the Canvas app. Doing so, creates a "lockdown browser" solution for assessments. Activate in THREE steps:
