William Keith Kellog 

Introduction 

Cereal is the most popular breakfast there is compared to other breakfast meals. It all started when Will Keith Kellogg found a way for people to not be making their life harder killing animals just to eat a breakfast meal. Today Kellogg’s is  synonymous with breakfast cereal.


Early life 

          Will Keith Kellog was born in April 7,1860.He was born in “Battle Creek, Michigan '' which was where he spent most of his life in. He went to work with John Presoton Kellog’ his dad and his mom,¨with¨Ann Janettee Stanley Kellog. He and his brother John Hervey Kellog were raised in the community of Seventh Day Adventists; and  were inseparable (My recipe). In his education he had some trouble with interaction with people and making friends he never had any interest in school or anything that he enjoyed his teachers always thought he was a slow learner but as soon as he was a young teenager he dropped out of school and went to work as a salesman for 8 years in his dad´s broom company (Nytimes). He had many ups and downs things that made him want to continue.In the future he did got a better education he took a three month business course Parsons Business College in Kalamazoo Michigan. He took an employment in the national famous creek sanitarium(Entrepreneur).He worked there as bookkeeper, shipping clerk, and cashier.He always thought that his patients could succeed to have a good health if they put effort to it by having a good diet. This is where it started and he started to experiment with food flavors(History Today).


Beginning of Career

           Will Keith Kellog brother John Harvey Kellog was a professional doctor that was trying to achievefor people to give up meat. So that made John to manifest a experiential kitchen. He put will to work in creating palatable substitute for it  but it was meat just made for west. John had tried to get the same taste of cereal and duplicate it.he had some visitors ans sadly shredded what didnt really matched with the sans visitors.Most of them had said it tasted like ¨bailed hay¨.John and Will were inseparable they used their time on experiment how to make it better.T hey learned each time they had a bad review to just make it better and experiment with it. Will had tried to look how to turn wheat into something more delicious.He figured of an idea to turn a wheat flake.The problem was that the mushy wheat just did not wanted to work with it. It took many tries Will Keith  went home to think of a way to stop failing and get what he wants. Days passed and he had went to the lab and he discovered that the batter he was trying to with had molded. He gave a crank to the flaking machine he had and successfully the product was some perfect flakes. Will had found out that he could do other flavors. Even if it was Will Keith idea . John took all the credit.They were never really close and their differences grew them apart. Will Keith learned not to trust.(Entrepreneur)


Conclusion

October 6 1951 William Keith Kellogg died but his legacy continues on breakfast tables around the world.
