Our student-led transitional program introduces military-connected students to our Galena Park ISD school environment and processes. We are proud of our Campus Student Ambassadors, selected from members of the JROTC program, Campus Student Council and Honor Society Members who are selected each year.
Our ambassadors lead student activities all year, ensuring that our military-connected students feel welcome and included at their campus. Our ambassadors support their school and participate in District military-connected family events to ensure that students K-12 have opportunities to meet our Galena Park ISD community. Campus Guided Tours
Our ambassadors lead guided tours, presenting the rules and campus information to ensure military-connected students experience a seamless transition to their new environment.

Our campus ambassadors accompany new students to help students feel welcomed to their new campus.
Newcomer Social Events
Our campus and district ambassadors helped our new military-connected students find ways to build relationships with their new peers and learn about campus culture.
Community Volunteers
Our campus and district ambassadors also spoke and volunteered to raise awareness of their participation in military-connected family events. Providing military-connected students an opportunities to meet with other military-connected families.
