7th Grade

A girl named Sophia Vargas was born on October, 11, 2008. Both of her parents were from Mexico but they moved here to Houston, Texas so she was born here in Houston and is Mexican/ American. She was brought to a daycare when she was younger and later enrolled at Woodland Acres Elementary School. She made many friends and is now in middle school. She is in all advanced classes, has very good grades, and is respectful to teachers and adults. Sophia has 4 older siblings and 2 pets that are a dog and a hamster. She loves talking to her friends and is very silly and fun to be with.

Sophia is interested in many things, some of which include art. She loves expressing herself through art and letting her creativity shine through. She is very good at painting, arts and crafts, and sketching. Another thing Sophia really shows passion for is singing and anything music related as she plays the trumpet for band class and is practicing the ukulele as a hobby. Her talent at doing both music and art is very good and is still in the process of advancing her skill each day.

Sophia has accomplished a lot of things in her 12 years of living. When she was in elementary school, she participated in performing a poem competition and won first place. She was then moved to compete in the district contest and won 3nd place. She has always been good at performing as she tried out for the talent show. She was asked to sing and to do a performance at the beginning of the year for 5th grade celebrating the new school and she said yes. It was an amazing performance. When she was about in 1st grade she played softball and made it to an all-star player. Sophia has made many trophies playing that. She works very well performing and sports and is proud of what she has done.

In the future when Sophia is older, she would like to stay in all advanced classes and excel in all of the subjects. She would also like to be motivated throughout the days so she can be productive, healthy, and to keep her life together. When she gets a job, she would like to be a dentist or a psychologist because those 2 jobs are very interesting to her and it would be a dream if it would come true. Sophia hopes my life goes amazing but if it doesn't go as expected, she will just have to see what life has in store for her.
