James Cash Penney’s Journey
His Journey started on September 16, 1875
But, his limit was reached on February 12, 1971
To establish the most chain stores in the US. was his goal
He reached it by 1928 with more than fifty-one thousand chain stores
He dreamed of becoming a lawyer
But he transitioned to becoming an entrepreneur
His ambition was changed by depression of his fathers' death
His father's death added to the pressure
Only after six of his sibling died of family diseases
Even so, he persevered and got his first job on 1898
He applied for the job of a clerk
An invite he received from Thomas Callahan and Guy Jefferson
To the part ownership, he agreed too
But he decided to break off and start his own business on 1902
He established his store in Kemmer, Wyoming
After ten years he had thirty-four stores
He was like a Cheeta when establishing chain stores
His love life was no mystery
Three wives and five children he had during his life
Do not worry he wasn’t after the gold
His first wife he loved with his heart
Two sons he had with her,
But shortly after she died of pneumonia
His second wife he married, after nine years of depressing memories
He had one son with her named which they named Kimball
He was heartbroken after she died of unknown medical problems
His third and final wife he married was Caroline Marie Autenrieth
The last two children he had were girls
Sadly Caroline was badly injured after falling off her favorite horse
He served the Golden Rule
he followed it until success he reached
Ever since childhood he was determined to uphold it
to the stars, he maintained it
his employees, he taught to follow the rule
so they can govern their own branch store
and expand it until it can soar
