7th Grade was probably one of the best years of my life as of 2020 with Covid-19 going around. 7th grade was also the first time I entered Encounters. Encounters was very weird at first, and I felt like I didn't belong there. Everyone knew what they were doing, but I never knew what I was doing. After about a week, I started to get the hang of doing essays and the other projects we did. Then, the best days started to arrive. Around the beginning of November, we went to the Renaissance Festival, and it was one of the best field trips I had ever been on. During the festival, me, Suleiman, Rylan, Logan, and Camila created the Squaaaa. Soon after the Renaissance Festival, we were called to participate in Duke Tip. We basically did the ACT in the 7th grade. We also had Fine Arts Friday where we would watch people perform a song for about 30 minutes. The last one was in March, and then the Coronavirus happened and we got 6 months of no school.
