The Great Growth of Michio Suzuki
What many may have wished to do Michio Suzuki had amazingly done. From hard times of having to pick cotton to being the creator and owner of a motor company ahead of its time. The Suzuki company is one of a kind to say the least, for at the time to today it has always been reliable, cheap, and overall convenient. Many love what Michio has done and enjoy his spacious, convenient, and comfortable cars and motorcycles. His simple strive to do these things got him to be successful and for him to make an impact on the motor vehicle industry for years to come.
Michio Suzuki was born in a village in Nezuminomura, Japan on February 18th 1887.Because he was born as the son of cotton farmers, he started to work in the fields as young as the age of eight.A little later on he worked as an apprentice in a loom factory for a while. When he was much more grown at the age of twenty one he turned the silkworm house his family gave him into a workshop where he then made his own loom out of wood and iron for his mother. With that his mother can then weave at a much faster pace. After many others hearing of this they wanted a piece of the pie.He decided to make his first establishment, in October 1909 Suzuki Loom Manufacturing was official and established and would grow and no longer just be a family business in 1920.One thing Suzuki believed in to improve his products was to always help your customers with their needs. The Suzuki Loom Manufacturing company went on for a while with Michio improving his product as much as he could and him of course doing his best. With a great invention and an outstanding owner his business grew and won prizes and in 1930 the company sold internationally.Of course Michio didn’t contain himself to his loom company, for in the 1930’s he transitioned and planned to make prototype cars to see what's best and that was when the Suzuki automobile company got its start.
Michio Suzuki’s plan to expand into motor vehicles got into action in 1937.That year he completed his first prototype vehicle.Unfortunately the arrangement to continue building in this area of work was put on a hold once Japan decided to join and fight in the second world war. After the war came to an end Japan’s economy was unstable which affected the Suzuki company, but after a while the company was able to start producing looms again. The Suzuki company was back on their feet for a good while till the cotton market then crashed in 1951.But luckily it can’t rain forever, for in 1952 they made and finished their bike with an engine. The bike had major success which of course helped the company really get together and to even make an other bike releasing the next year in March called the Diamond Free. The following year in 1954 they sold a great and stable amount of products. They continued to work oh so very hard and created their lovely and dependable first mini vehicle. This vehicle was released to the public in the autumn of 1955.Suzuki went on to improve and make new car models as they do now.Because of the company wanting to constantly expand, Suzuki eventually got to making boat engines, snowmobiles, Medium-size boats, snow ploughs, three-wheeled vehicles, and motorised wheelchairs, electric cars, and even the world’s first hydrogen engine automobile all from 1965 to 1979.A new year coming meant a new opportunity for Suzuki, for they expanded and had some news nearly all the time.Suzuki grew in every part they could to making sports cars, a car that would stay popular for as long as 20 years, and even a new genre of cars. The company grows by sponsoring, advertising, still making new vehicles, and improvements. The company does and mostly likely will continue to grow and improve with one of their newest vehicles being the fourth generation Jimny wins awards and is commonly liked upon critics.
From their first Prototype to the fourth Generation Jimny like many things in the world Suzuki’s cars grew and developed greatly. After the Suzulight Suzuki of course had to make new models of cars.In 1968 Suzuki proved their vehicles to have high quality by test driving one for 750km at high speeds.Suzuki soon on came out with environmental friendly vehicles such as their first electric car in 1970 and even the world’s first hydrogen engine automobile in 1979!In 1970 Suzuki also came out with their first Jimny automobile. It is known for being able to get the car where it needs to be even with the harshest paths to cross.Suzuki of course expanded in nearly every direction with family vehicles, offroading vehicles, and even fast sports cars. Now that they Cover all types of genres of cars Suzuki continues to improve and grow them with their newest being a successful updated model of the 1970 Jimny.
With their start outside of looming being a motorized bike Suzuki knew they had to make more bikes to be successful, and that’s what they did.Suzuki made new motorcycles and became well known for it, for people know they are reliable and high quality. But with their first motorcycle looking like a regular bike with a few added parts, Suzuki of course along with others improved their bikes to keep up with the times and to make them successful. With the next being the Diamond Free it was clear that Suzuki knew exactly where to improve.Suzuki eventually got to making the world’s first rotary motorcycle. Although it did not do well in sales because of the time Suzuki knew how to run their business, for they went on to make successful motorcycles that the people wanted.Like any successful company would do they came to expand and make motorcycles of all genres.Suzuki wanted to make a motorcycle that could win, so they did so and in 1985 they won first place in a 24 hour endurance race with that motorcycle.Proving to be reliable many people now own a Suzuki motorbike. One of Suzuki’s fans favorites is the Suzuki Katana.Suzuki listened to what the people wanted and gave them exactly it just for them to love.Suzuki is now quite notorious for their motorcycles and will most likely continue to do what they're best at and improve and perfect their products for their customers to enjoy.
