The Orange King of the trees
Orangutans are the king of the trees
They sit up there eating everything from fruits to fleas
With their long arms and short legs, they can swing from tree to tree
To go anywhere they can see or anywhere it please
Although their primitive way of life is dumb
Their tips and tricks show that they are smart and their brain is not numb.
Orangutans can grow up to 4.1-5 feet
But don't let it deceive you or you will meet its 7 feet wingspan
The Bornean Orangutan is one of 3 types of Orangutans
It isn’t very rare but it isn’t very common
With its lazy lifestyle it's probably living in Asia eating ramen
Sumatran is 2nd one of the bunch
Even though 2 is fair just like Bornean it isn’t the most rare
The Tapanuli which is the last of the group
It is the latest to be discovered
It probably has the least amount of land covered
Unlike birds that live in trees they don't fly
But like birds they sleep in nests and stay in herds like birds
If you say they don’t look fast you’re right
With a 100 lb or more mass they go a minimal 2.7 mile per hour
With their not slim body
They still manage to stay afloat while they swim
Even with their smelly food
They could probably out live a average human
Orangutans are the heaviest tree-dwelling animal
It might sound like a nice life with no random
Until you remember that you're being hunted
And getting kicked out of the trees by humans
