On December 8, 2012, an unexpected thing happened. What was supposed to be a boy turned out to be a girl. Her name was Lizbeth Amada Ahumada. She is now 12 years old - about to be 13 - and just started 7th grade. Her whole family is Mexican, but she was born in America, making her roots from Mexico and the US. She is the oldest of 2 kids. She was happy being an only child, but her parents thought she was sad and lonely, and on February 20, 2019, a boy named Aaron was born. Lizbeth thought she was going to be happy and no longer “lonely”, but it was the opposite. She also loves her friends very much, and would be willing to do anything for them, especially the ones that she is very close to.
Some of her hobbies mean a lot to her, so she would definitely be willing to go on for hours about how much she loves them. For example, band. She loves band very dearly, and has a deep passion for the instruments that she plays. Since she is in percussion, she can play many instruments, as long as they are assigned to her. One of her favorite instruments to play is the snare drum. Anytime she is assigned to it, she makes sure to try her best and manage to understand what she has to play in no time. Another one of her favorite hobbies is reading. She loves to read in her free time, even if the wifi is working. Finally, the last hobby she definitely enjoys is making her brother mad. It makes him look stupid and funny. Even though it’s something that she should not be looking forward too, it makes her be happy. It feels nice to make someone mad once in a while, especially when it’s someone that gets mad easily.
Some of her best accomplishments are being in advanced classes, having good grades, making people proud, etc. She was smart enough to have all of her classes be advanced, also qualifying high enough to be in wind ensemble and varsity choir. Her grades are something that she has been worrying about every second of the day since school started getting harder for her. She always tries her best at whatever she has to do, but often ends up confused, and feels embarrassed when she asks for help. When things like this go right, she loves to make the people around her proud. Making people proud is something she loves to do, whether it’s something small or something big.
Her goals that she has set for the future mean a lot to her. Some of them are being able to go to college and achieving her dream of becoming an astronomer. When she gets older, she wishes to go to a college close to home, since she gets homesick anytime she’s far away from it, or a college that’s very good and has an astronomy major. Since she was little, she has wanted to achieve her goal of becoming an astronomer, even though she sucks at math. She hopes that these goal gets achieved.
