My 6th grade year was boring. It was less exciting than what i thought it would be. There are more procedures to go through in middle school than elementary. One thing I did in 6th grade that I think I will remember is realizing that 6th grade is a very much more different place than elementary. Most teachers are stricter and more serious with their job and students. Also, more rules and policies are expected to be followed in middle school, even though most people didn’t bother to not follow them. Also, I did accomplish some of my goals, like getting higher grades and following directions in school, although the most challenging part was trying to accomplish those goals. It was difficult, but at the end it was worth it. I am more proud of where I made improvements, like my math grades and my other core classes. 3 important things I learned this year is to not get to crazy, to follow the rules, and to focus on what’s most important and nothing else. This will definitely help because of how I've seen some students not care. What I found hard at the start of the school year was focusing. As I mentioned, I've seen people go through discipline because they focus on mostly anything but the important things. But now, it’s not so hard to pay attention and to focus more. Overall, the school year wasn’t so bad. I found things I enjoyed very much, like my electives and my friends, and I learned more.
