My 7th grade year was very difficult at times. I learned a lot not just in my subjects but a lot about myself as well. This year came with lots of difficulties but was also a lot of fun.
Academically I had a lot of difficulties. This year was a huge switch from 6th grade. A year ago I could just do assignments months later and miss a lot of assignments but this year was very different. This year taught me more about responsibility. Having to manage 8 classes instead of 5 was a huge switch. Not only were there more classes but the classes were more difficult in terms of the difficulty of the work and amount of work. Classes like Reading and Encounters were especially difficult because of the amount of work, but overall this year taught me a lot about responsibility.
Socially this year was very interesting. This year I made a lot of new friends in both 7th and 8th grade. New people who now are really close to me like Daniel. And others who I met but i know soon i might never see them again. New people in 8th grade who I've also become really close with but will soon be people I will only talk to online. Not only will I soon lose most of these friendships but I also lost other friendships. I lost people who I cared about but now I'll never talk to them again because I can no longer see them. One of these people is Brayan who I was really close with but he moved schools and now I don't talk to him anymore.
Outside of school it was decent and I had fun. I played games with my friends and talked a lot to them. I got to go to a lot of places with my family. I also got to hang out with my friends somewhat. However it was hard to balance my school life and outside life. It was hard to have fun outside of school with a lot of stress from school.
In conclusion, this year was very interesting. A lot happened, many good things, some bad but overall it was a good experience and it taught me a lot.
