At the beginning of the year, I was completely lost. I was in a new school with new teachers and new students. I was learning so many new things and I knew nearly nothing about band or choir. I was worried I wouldnt be able to keep up in my classes and would fall behind.
Eventually, I started to get used to everything. I was so proud of myself for the amount of growth I had. I was able to understand math, and in english class, everything came to me so easily. I completely fell in love with both band and choir and choosing those two classes was probably one of the best decisions I have ever made. If I could talk to myself at the beginning of the year, I would tell myself not to worry and to just enjoy being with my friends. I accomplished so many things that I will never forget and I faced so many obstacles that have helped me grow as a person.
I became more responsible and stopped procrastinating and I also learned to slow down and enjoy the things around me. I became more comfortable with working in groups and learned how to talk to people better. I became more ambitious and figured out I wanted to become an architect. English became my favorite subject and once I begun to work hard in the class, I started to read more often. This school year was probably the most difficult year, but it was also one of the years I performed best. The most important things I learned this year was to not give up, to speak up for what I believe in, and to make every moment count.
