My 6th Grade Reflection
During my 6th grade school year I have accomplished more than I could have imagined. I have been working hard in school and out. Many different obstacles have been put in our paths this year such as covid but I feel like we all made our way around it. If I were to describe my first year of middle school in three different words it would be different, challenging, and fulfilling. I describe 6th grade like this because it was different from many other people's 6th-grade experiences, challenging because I didn't know how much work we had to do, and fulfilling because even though I was struggling to keep up with all the work I still managed to keep up my grades all year. If I was to change one thing this year it would be my focusing skills. I say this because I would always find myself coming home to a bunch of work I didn’t finish in class. I feel like I could have enjoyed my weekends if I had just focused and finished my work. The subject I struggled with this year is math. Although my grades don't show it I never really got the hang of math. A thing that happened to me in the 6th grade was that I was invited and accepted to the NJHS (National Junior Honor Society).it will always be such a big thing to me. My 6th-grade experience was something I could have never imagined for many different reasons and I loved all of it.
