7th Grade Reflection

My seventh grade year was certainly an experience and just reflecting on it proves that. It was full of challenges and struggles but I still managed to succeed, somehow. A lot changed during the year and I'm proud of myself and also very excited for all the years to come. 

At first everything was a struggle. Everything was way harder and different from sixth grade and I had to adjust for all these brand new experiences. That was difficult, but I managed by. I worked extremely hard in my classes only wanting the best for myself. I didn't do well immediately but I did what I could. The workload was very different this year but change is good. However I will say some subjects were harder. Nevertheless it didn't bring me down too much and I enjoyed most of my classes this seventh grade year.

Regardless of how hard those classes were I learnt how much harder friendships are. This year was a struggle and I learnt a lot about loyalty. However I will say I care a lot about my friends and they made my whole year. They were always there for me and I was there for them. I could never have imagined how bad this year would have been without them. I know they care for me and it helps a lot with school. In this whole year I think they were all my favorite parts. 

Extracurricular activities were not the biggest part of my seventh grade year. Most specifically sports but I was in a couple of non-sporting things outside. This year I was in the student council, National Junior Honor Society, and STEM Girls Club. I also was in two UIL’s and in Band. These may not have been sports but they were still a lot to juggle.

This year was a lot, but I still had a blast. Seventh grade was also a good year of changes. A lot changed and a lot is new. However, it was amazing and it was a great year full of amazing memories. I'm very proud of where I ended up and glad I tried my hardest and did my best. I'm glad for my seventh grade year and it was everything I could ask for. All I want to do now is prepare myself for the end of the year and have a fresh mind for the next.
