Our seventh grade encounter´s teacher was Mr. Skipper. I really liked to start my day out with his class. We did a lot of really fun stuff, but we also did work. I remember when it was Christmas and Mr. Skipper brought crafts for us to make ornaments. His classroom was really big and he had barely moved there so we helped him get stuff from his old room and move it to his new one. When we needed extra time to do our challenge of the mind project Mr. Skipper would come on the weekends so we could have time to do them.
My favorite teacher was Mr. Skipper. He is really funny and kind. I remember one time he told us that he doesn't wash his shirts. He told us that every morning he would just smell them and if they didn't smell he would wear it. He was a really great teacher and I learned a lot from him last year. He is really creative and he brought the creativity out of our whole class.
My friends in seventh grade were Abigail, Kimberly, Jade Arianna , and Camila. We were all really nice and helped each other survive. We would make each other laugh and talk about random things. A really close friend that i had was Jade. We always made each other laugh and we told each other every thing and i could really feel like i could count on her. We would all hangout a lot and we had almost the same schedules. We all got along really well and I'm really thankful to have them.
Our challenge of the mind project was about People who created a company named after them. We had to write a research paper about the person we chose. I chose Milton Hershey and The Hershey Company. I chose that company because I love chocolate. Milton was a really interesting person to research. He is really kind. One thing I learned about him is that he made a school for orphaned boys he put in a lot of money so the boys there could have fresh new clothes and food. After our research papers we made our cars out of boxes and cardboard . Mr. Skipper helped us make wheels that actually moved. After my car was glued together I paper machayed it and then painted it gray. The next day i made drips on the car with brown paint as if chocolate melted on it. Then Mr. Skipper helped me make a giant Hershey kiss that would be on top. Unfortunately we didn't get to finish our cars but they were all turning out really great.
The year was going really great but unfortunately we never returned to school after spring break. For the end of the year we didn't get to do any of the fun stuff. We never finished our projects and we didn't have a graduation ceremony. It kinda feels like we never ended seventh grade. Even though we never returned, I hope everything goes back to normal. We made great memories last year and I wouldn't change them.
