Galena Park I.S.D. is pleased to offer you and your eligible dependents various employer-paid and employee-paid health benefits. As a new employee of the District, you can choose to enroll in benefits within 31 days of your hire date. If you do not enroll within this timeframe, you will be ineligible for benefits until next year's Open Enrollment period, which occurs annually in July and August or during a qualifying event. Please find more information about the benefits available to you and your eligible dependents on our website. It's important to note that all employee benefits are deducted from each semi-monthly paycheck.
