In the 6th grade I did many awesome things that I think I should do again. One of the things I did was to start playing percussion at school. I started out with three teachers named Mr. B, Mrs Molander, and Mr. Gutierez. I like playing mostly the snare drum and when I was in 6th grade, it was my favorite thing to play.
In the 5th grade I was so excited to be in middle school and when I finally got there I also started thinking about what sport I should play in the 7th grade. I was so into soccer ,but at Woodland Acres Middle School they don't have a soccer team. After I realized that, I started looking at what sport I should play next year and decided that I should join the basketball team. I was also thinking about joining the track team but I didn't think I would be good enough. Ultimately, I just picked basketball as the sport I should play next year.
In 5th grade, it was my first year that I spent in Encounters. When I got to 6th grade there was also a Encounters class where we would just learn how to make crafts and we studied English there two. We studied English there two because there was no other class where they could put us in English. We did many crafts like a shoe box diorama and we even started making some shields. We did not finish the shields because of a shut down that happened after spring break.
Soon, It was time for Spring break. When spring break was about to end my school announced that we will not be going to school after spring break. When I heard this news I was super happy but really did not think about why we won’t be having school. When I started thinking about why, I decided to ask my parents why we are not going to school anymore. They said that we are not going to school because the virus spread that was happening in china was slowly coming our way. I still was excited about not going to school anymore but I still felt worried about the virus spreading.
When I was in 6th grade, It was one of the best experiences I have ever felt. I had amazing journeys along the way. The best part about 6th grade was spending time in classes that I loved and being able to go to classes by walking there and not just staying in one class for the whole day.
