My 7th grade year was really fun because of the things that we got to do and the people I met. We skipped some things because of Covid-19 like STAAR and the classes we had just made it even more fun.
Encounters was a really fun class because of the students that were in that class. And also the project was pretty fun even though we didn’t finish. Mr. Skipper, our teacher, was the best teacher we could have possibly got for that class. One day we went to the renaissance festival and it was a super fun experience. Then for a couple of Fridays, we would go and watch people play music. It was pretty boring but we would skip school so I didn’t care. We did a lot of work in Encounters like our research paper which was 1252 words long. The most fun project we did was our cars.
For my overall 7th grade year it was pretty fun and we did a lot of things it was pretty fun. It was the first time I played football and I was quarterback. The only reason I was quarterback was because when my brother played he was quarterback. I didn't really want to play football but since I wanted to play basketball I had to play. Since covid happened we didn’t have to take the STAAR test that year which was really fortunate because I don't like taking those types of tests.
Overall 7th grade was a really fun/good year. There were so many things we did during that year so many things that we learned and experienced. I also met some new friends throughout the year. If I could go back to 7th grade I would.
