8th Grade Reflection

My 8th-grade year is almost coming to an end and this year was one of the best for me since I did a lot this year. At the beginning of the year, I didn't know what to expect since it was going to be my last year in middle school. The first most important events during the year were the sports. I played volleyball, basketball, and track & field. This year we won as District champions for volleyball which I was so happy about since I am leaving my name in this school as long as the school is up. We also had the chance to play volleyball against the teachers, which we didn't want but we were able to win a set of 25. This year we had two dances for the fall and for valentines, we are also going to be having an 8th-Grade dance to celebrate our graduation. We also had a dodgeball tournament in which my team "The Freakz" won 1st place. I also won second place in a UIL Social Studies competition. We are having a football tournament, and I will be playing against many other teams. For the Encounters class, we will also have a field trip for Main Event. This year we also had four STAAR tests that were the worst thing that we had. During this 8th-grade year I had a lot of fun and hope for the 9th-grade year to be the same or even better.
