Course Description
This course introduces students to entrepreneurship, business fundamentals, and marketing principles. Students will develop skills in business planning, financial management, digital marketing, and industry-standard design and production software. This course prepares students for high-skill, high-wage, high-demand careers in the global marketplace and may transition to include hands-on experience in the district's student-run print shop and graphic design operations.

Safety & Classroom Environment
· The classroom will be kept clean, organized, and safe
· All equipment and materials must be used according to instructions
· Report any equipment problems or safety concerns immediately

Cell Phone Policy
Per state law (HB 1481), cell phones and other electronic devices are not allowed on campus during school hours. Students should place their cell phones inside of their backpacks, if students do not have a backpack they can place their phones on Mrs. Speck’s desk and will be returned to them at the end of class. Eliminating cell phone distractions is one key to success in class.
Grading & Attendance Policy
50% Daily (Class Assignments, Homework, Quizzes, Participation)
50% (Projects, Tests)
10 Points are deducted after one week of late work. Students can make up work after an absence.

A 90–100%
B 80–89%
C 70–79%
F 0%- 69%
Attendance is required and highly recommended for success in the class. We cover a lot of material, so please plan on attending.
Rules & Classroom Management Policies
Students are expected to arrive at class on time and be ready to learn. Students are required and expected to participate in classroom discussions, projects, and daily work. All students are to act in a manner that models the positive school environment. If students are unable to follow the rules, they will be disciplined in accordance with the steps and procedures outlined in the Student Handbook.
