My Research Poem
I wrote this in the 7th grade. I did a cover of "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid.
Customer, listen to me. The reading world,
It’s heaven. Books are amazing as fireworks,
nothing could compare!
The books are always newer,
in the prophesized bookstore,
You dream about waves of books,
but you need that money-
Just look at the store
around you, there are
varieties of books in the store!
Fiction, Nonfiction,
what more are you lookin’ for?
Come read the books!

Oh yeah its literature, don’t think it’s
figurative, take it from me!
Barnes and Noble worked all day,
their store was in dismay,
While we’re successful, big banks of
money, come read the books!
Round here all the customers are happy,
Leonard knew their flow!
Sofas, lounges and coffee,
As happy as a mother they go!
But the books around here aren’t repetitive,
There’s more and more and more,
One day when you get bored,
a new book awaits you!
Oh! Come read the books!

Bought by company, then bought
by Leo, oh how gleeful!
#1 Retailer no one can beat,
Barnes and Noble standing high,
We lounge around, the books are
smiling, come read the books!
Leo was chillin’, selling books in university!

We’ve got the books, you gotta see them,

Books are the best, don’t you agree,
Check ‘em out now, or put it on hold,
Cashiers doing more than William,
Inventory better than Clifford’s!
The customers coming,
as fast as cheetahs,
to get that sweet deal!
No more full prices,
That’s a mistake,
We’re going a lower price!
Riggio benefitted himself,
Oh boy, the store was
trending! (Oh yeah!)
