Beanstack is a student app used to record consecutive reading minutes. Students are encouraged to reading their library books and/or class choice books. When students are actively reading, the Beanstack timer can be turned on. After students input information about he title and author of their book, questions follow the completion of the book. Currently there is a Reading Competition in their Library class.

Reading Log Questions.pdfReading Log.pdfStudents have Reading Logs in the class binder to record short responses to their daily reading. Students write the date, title, author and answer to their question. The question code can be found on the yellow paper. Students should distinguish between fiction/and nonfiction to pick appropriate questions.
