Going into 6th grade was like a roller coaster. I was supposed to go to Cobb instead of Woodland Acres Middle School, which meant I didn't know anyone at School only four people, two friends from my elementary, my cousin, and my older brother. At first, a would hang out with the people I knew, but then they made new friends and we didn't hang out that much. I’m not that good at making friends because I don't talk a lot I only talk to people if they talk to me, so I didn't have many friends. The schedules were all messed up so I had random classes, and missing classes, but they soon got that fixed. All my teachers were really nice and fun. One of my favorite teachers was Mr. Skipper because we got to do research and fun projects.
In Encounters which was Mr. Skipper’s class, we were supposed to go to Cobb but they changed it to our school. At the beginning of the school year, there were two Encounters, 6 classes, because of the schedules but they changed and it was one Encounters 6 class.
During spring break coronavirus started and we all thought that it was going to be here for a little while, but by the end of spring break, they said that it was getting too dangerous so the School closed and we had to do virtual learning. At first, we all thought that we were only going to be online for a couple of weeks but it ended up being the rest of the school year. And right till this moment we still are online and will probably still be online for the rest of the year.
