Hi, my name is Jordan Carter, and I am an 8th grader at Cunningham Middle School. One of my favorite classes is science because I enjoy experimenting and discovering how things work in the world around me. I also love playing basketball because it allows me to work with my teammates and push myself to get better every day. Outside of school, I like solving puzzles, and I can solve a Rubik’s Cube in under two minutes, which is one of my favorite skills to show my friends. In my free time, I like to sketch and draw, especially designs of futuristic cars and machines. I think of myself as someone who is curious and always willing to learn new things, whether it’s through reading, exploring technology, or trying something hands-on. My family is very important to me, and I enjoy spending time with them, especially during game nights when we play cards and laugh together. I believe that my creativity, determination, and love for learning make me stand out.

After middle school, I plan to attend high school and join the STEM and robotics clubs so I can continue exploring engineering and technology. I want to take challenging classes like physics and advanced math to prepare myself for a career in mechanical engineering. Playing basketball is also something I want to continue because it teaches me teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. In college, I plan to major in mechanical engineering and work on projects that design machines to improve people’s everyday lives. One of my dreams is to invent technology that can support people with disabilities so they can live more independently. I also hope to travel around the world and learn from other engineers in different countries. By combining creativity with problem-solving, I want to build a career that helps both my community and people globally. My ultimate goal is to be remembered as someone who used his skills to make a positive difference.
