My Life

On December 16th, 2008, a little girl was born into an amazing family. Her family decided to name her Ariana. Ariana was born in San Joseph Hospital. The time was 7:35 in the morning. When Ariana was brought home by her wonderful parents named Sandra and Eldemiro, she was brought to two older sisters named Itzel the oldest, and then Ximena. Ximena is only one year older than Ariana, but Itzel is five years older than her. Today Ariana is a student at Woodland Acres Middle School in the 8th grade. Ariana is now halfway through the 8th grade and hopes to graduate middle school with good grades.

Some of Ariana's hobbies are volleyball and basketball. At first, Ariana tried softball but it didn't go well for her. Softball would make her stressed, and she would worry about it too much. This wasn't healthy for her, so she decided to quit the softball team. After softball Ariana decided to try out for basketball at her school. In the 8th grade, she is now on the volleyball team and hopes to also be in basketball this year. As basketball season approached, Ariana was able to make it in the black team this year too. She has improved a lot since her 7th-grade year.

An accomplishment that Ariana will never forget is that she got accepted into the black team for basketball in the 7th grade and the black team for 8th grade volleyball. Getting here wasn't easy she had to practice a lot and give it her all to get in. For four days straight, she had to wake up early to tryouts and this was going to be her first time doing volleyball while other people had already played it. With the help of her sister Ximena, she was able to learn the basics of volleyball since Ximena was on the black team in her 8th-grade year. Ariana is also the only new volleyball player who hadn't played before. She thinks this is her biggest accomplishment yet.

Ariana has many goals she wants to accomplish in life. One

of the most important for her is graduating high school with grades she can be proud of. She also wants to study and get a good job to be successful. After she’s done studying, she would love to travel to Paris, France, to visit the Eiffel Tower which is her dream. Ariana hopes she has an amazing life.
