7th grade has been one of the craziest years of my life. It has been like a roller coaster with many ups and downs. I have experienced many new things that I never thought I would have ever done in my life. In 7th grade, I did Student Council, UIL, Encounters, Region Choir which I was a couple of chairs away from making it, and many more. Those are some things I decide to do for fun so I can go on field trips and get credit or maybe even win. Some of the certificates I received were Perfect Attendance, A- Honor Roll, and 2nd Place in the Science Fair.
This year was challenging because the teachers assigned way too much work and the fact that STAAR was a month earlier. But with all my hard work and dedication I managed to keep my grades balanced by doing my work at home or in school when assigned. Since sometimes I don't get to do stuff at home because I have to do homework or work that I did not complete I have less time to have fun, play games, go outside, and many more.
This year I have gotten way better at math even though I was already advanced I got to learn way more than I thought. But while I was minding my own business and doing my work I noticed how much I hate the dress. I don't like the way we cannot wear rips above the knee or wear these polo shirts that don't really match the school colors or match anything.
Overall this year has been really memorable for me. I have learned many things and will always cherish these moments for the rest of my life. Even though it had some bumps along the way I had to overcome them with the help of my friends and family.
