About Me Collage

Hello, I am Andres, and this will be all about Me. I was born in Houston, Texas on June 5th, 2011. I am from the Miranda family. I have a brother named Nicolas, and he is so tall. I also have two older sisters. Katterine is 28 and Isabella is 24. I even have 3 small nephews! My family is Colombian., which I think is awesome. My elementary school was Woodland Acres Elementary School until I was in 5th grade. I made many friends there and have great memories there.

My favorite hobbies are singing and playing soccer. I've always liked singing since I was 2 years old. Even before I could correctly speak, I was singing. I would sing in Spanish mostly since that is what my parents listened to. The type of music that I like has always been "Regeatton" which is like a Spanish version of Pop music. I started liking and playing soccer when I was 9 years old. I entered a soccer team when I was 10 years old. When I entered my team, at the first game I scored. That day I finally knew what offsides meant because I made a goal at the beginning of the game, but it didn't count. Then, I took another shot, and it went in.

In 4th grade, I won the Daniel Bazan Award which shocked me because it is a very special award given to only 1 boy per grade level. I was the kid that was chosen to win the award. My teacher told me it was because I was a special student. I joined Writing UIL after that year and unsuccessfully did not place. I'm gonna try harder this year in 6th grade. After the UIL competition, the last few days of elementary school there was a talent show. It seemed like the perfect time to show my talent. The song I sang was "Dos Orugitas" from "Encanto".When the day came, I sang to the crowd and after that, I was hearing cheers for myself. Now in sixth grade, I immediately joined Choir.

Since I was little, I've always wanted to be a singer. I know it is hard work because if you want to be a singer, you have to have a perfect voice for the song. When I was a kid I wanted to have some random jobs, but now I made my final decision. As the years go by, I hope I can achieve my goal to become a singer.
