Meet Ms. Lawrence

Ms. Lawrence joined the Williamston Community Schools team in the fall of 2020. She graduated from Grand Valley State Univeristy and has worked in Early On and in a Pediatric Outpatient setting. She has a dog (her sidekick!) named Remi and loves the Upper Peninsula. We are thrilled to have her. She is fun, creative, and knowledgeable.

Check out some of her favorite resources below.

What sounds should my child be able to produce?

Below is a chart of the typical progress of sound production. Remember that children can develop these sounds at different times and all children grow and learn at their own rate. The numbers represent the age and they are filled with the typical sounds that children will have by that age. For example, a 4 year old typically produces the sounds Y, T, D, G, K, NG and all of the three year old sounds.

Know that this is an approximation, all children develop differently! Please contact your child's teacher if you have a concern about your child's speech.
