Creative Process

use your sketchbook to create thumbnail sketches of various creatures that blend features of animals, insects, and even humans
choose one of your creatures and draw a full-page sketch that includes both textural and structural details from a variety of angles
create an armature using wire, foil, and tape--ensure your finished sculpture will be free-standing and stable
add a layer of plasticine to additively and reductively reproduce your creature sketch as a three-dimensional form
