Below are some activities that we have done that ecorporates STEM Engineering and/or Design Thinking in connection to the SNC 1W curriculum

Grape Smash

This is an introductory task that Sara does on the first day or two of class

Students designed, built and coded remote control cars (Mars Rovers connected this project to Space Exploration)

SNC1W Water Tower Challenge

Students design and compete to create the lightest water tower that can hold the most water. Credit to Stephen Monica
