Observational / Conversational Printable Paper Tracker
This is a generic tracker that you could use for any course that provides space to provide details of the observation / conversation and space for elaboration on your assessment. See one in action here.
Super Low Tech: Sticky Note tracking!
This is a super easy, low tech way of grabbing observational data while students are working in groups, doing labs/activities, working vertically etc.
I write what we are doing across the top of the sticky note, the date and divide it into 5 sections (Levels 1, 2, 3, 4 and R) where I put the students' initials after an observational assessment. I've also written notes on the back and you could also identify who was absent as well. I tape these to the back of my paper mark sheets as a place to keep them.
SNC1W Observational/Conversation Electronic Tracker
This can be used on an iPad or Computer to track assessments and record evidence and notes. It also gathers the data from the different expectations and averages them by strand on the summary page.
Here is a video on how to use this tracker.
Differentiated Assessment Electronic Tracker
This was created to track student understanding of learning goals in SNC 1W when assesment tasks were differentiated into mild, medium & spicy options. It uses a ungrading/gradeless approach and qualitative descriptors to record student understanding.
Here is a short video and more in-depth instructions how to use this tracker.
