Did you know?

• Clarke Road is a reading community. Clarke Road has one of the highest circulation (book sign-out) rates in all of Thames Valley District School Board. Books are very important to us! PS: "Books" are anything with a spine - fiction, non-fiction, graphic texts, manga, essays, magazine, articles and poetry!

• Our newly renovated library space features white board walls, cozy reading nooks, collaborative learning spaces, a maker space with green screen, conference rooms, and sooooo many great books!

• Not a reader yet? Our teacher librarian, Ms. Taggart is an expert in matching students to book titles they will love. Check out the video to meet her, and to sneak a peek at our new library space!

• Ms. Taggart works with grade 9 and 10 students to help them create a "Reader's Profile" using google sites. This portfolio allows students to track what they read over the entirety of their high school career. How many books will you read?

• We are very excited to start to be able to use this area.
