Fri., Oct. 24th: 6AS & 6JC - no new homework as we did not have Math today due to the Special Assembly. Please make sure the homework from Thursday is completed for next Monday, October 27th.

Thurs., Oct. 23rd: 6AS - Workbook Page "Adding & Subtracting Decimals" P. 54-55 - do questions related to Subtraction of decimals for tonight (P. 54 Q#2 and P. 55 Q#2 & #3); use the space beside the subtraction problems to check the answer to the subtraction using addition. 6JC -  Workbook Page "Adding & Subtracting Decimals" P. 54-55 - only do questions related to Addition of decimals for tonight (P. 54 Q#1 and P. 55 Q#1); use the space beside the addition problems to give an estimate of the sum, before calculating it.

Wed., Oct. 22nd: 6AS - Workbook Page "Adding & Subtracting Decimals" P. 54-55 - only do questions related to Addition of decimals for tonight (P. 54 Q#1 and P. 55 Q#1 & #4); use the space beside the addition problems to give an estimate of the sum, before calculating it. 6JC -  Textbook P. 130 Q#4 (a,b,c,d); P. 131 Q #4, #5, #6, #7, #8 - remember that you are simply ESTIMATING - complete in your Math Exercise books; if you're using the online version of the Textbook, you need to click on Unit 4 - Decimals: Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide.

Tues., Oct. 21st: 6AS - Textbook P. 130 Q#4 (a,b,c,d); P. 131 Q #4, #5, #6, #7, #8 - remember that you are simply ESTIMATING - complete in your Math Exercise books; if you're using the online version of the Textbook, you need to click on Unit 4 - Decimals: Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide; 6JC -  no new homework; please be sure to complete previous homework you haven't handed in.

Mon., Oct. 20th: 6AS - no new homework; 6JC -  complete Workbook P. 50-P. 51 "Rounding Decimals"; complete Qs #1, #2, & #3 on P. 50; SKIP Q#1 on P. 51, but DO Stretch Your Thinking on P. 51.

Fri., Oct. 17th: 6AS - complete Workbook P. 50-P. 51 "Rounding Decimals"; complete Qs #1, #2, & #3 on P. 50; SKIP Q#1 on P. 51, but DO Stretch Your Thinking on P. 51; 6JC - complete the back side of  Comparing Small & Large Decimals worksheet (rounding decimals).

Fri., Sept. 19th : 6AS & 6JC - Complete the "Intruder Puzzle" sheet.

Thurs., Sept. 18th : 6AS & 6JC - Workbook Sheet "Exploring One Million" - P. 12 - 13; do all Qs EXCEPT for Q# 5a and #5b on P. 13. Please do Stretch Your Thinking (SYT) as well. You can use a calculator if you want.

Wed., Sept. 17th : 6AS & 6JC - No new homework.

Tues., Sept. 16th : 6AS & 6JC - No new homework (we were at "Newsies" today); please make sure you have completed the homework from Monday or last Friday.

Mon., Sept. 15th : 6AS  - Write the Mystery Number we uncovered in class today in 3 different forms. You can pick from: standard form, word form, expanded form, place value form, and base-10 block form.  6JC -  No new homework; please make sure you have completed the front side of the yellow "Know Your Place Value" sheet.

Fri., Sept. 12th : 6AS & 6JC -  Complete the front side of the yellow worksheet "Know Your Place Value."

Thurs., Sept. 11th : 6AS & 6JC -  Complete the back side of the worksheet you got earlier - How Quickly Does the Length of Straws Grow Placed End-to-End. HINT: you will likely need to use Google Maps to help you with the bottom of that sheet.

Wed., Sept. 10th : 6AS & 6JC -  No new homework today. Make sure you've completed the front of the worksheet from yesterday.

Tues., Sept. 9th : 6AS & 6JC -  Complete the "Place Value" related questions on the front of the worksheet you got in class today.

Mon., Sept. 8th : 6AS & 6JC -  No new homework.
