Grade Ten Drama 

(ADA 2O - Introductory Open Level Drama)

This course provides opportunities for students to explore dramatic forms, conventions, and techniques and to use the elements of drama in creating and communicating.  Students will assume responsibility for decisions made in the creative and collaborative processes.  

• Take this course in EITHER grade nine OR ten!

• Engaging projects where you’re always working together

• Skills: collaboration, voice and movement for performance, creative expression

• Develop greater self confidence and make new friends!

Grade Eleven Drama 

(ADC 3M - University / College Drama in the Community)

This course requires students to define their understanding of community through the development of the ensemble, then apply their skills and understanding to become agents of change within their communities. 

• Develop creative leadership skills

• Have fun and grow collaborating with your classmates

• Learn more about the art of theatre

• Opportunities to perform at school and in the community

Grade Twelve Drama 

(ADA 4M - University/College level Drama)

Students will interpret dramatic literature and other text and media sources while learning about various theories of directing and acting.  Students will analyze how the knowledge and skills developed in drama are related to their personal skills, social awareness, and goals beyond secondary school.

• Create polished performances with your classmates

• Prepare for post-secondary studies in the arts
