April 13-17
I hope you had a great weekend. I am working hard to bring some music activities to all of my classes, all 17 of them! Because I have so many students, I have decided to create a separate 'Music' Google classroom for the grade 3 classes. I will also post the weekly activities to my website as a reference. You will be able to access other fun activities here as well. Please remember to complete your work through the google music classroom, not the website.
I will post a new activity to the classroom and website each week (on Mondays).
This week I have a fun activity for you called "Deteggtive Anderson". Follow the instructions on the Google slides and have fun working on it!
To access the lesson, press the 'open presentation' icon in the top right hand corner of the picture. It looks like a square with an arrow in it. When you click it, you should hear my voice. Tap anywhere on the picture to move to the next slide.
I miss you!

Thank you for submitting your 'Deteggtive Anderson' work to me last week. I really enjoyed watching your videos and seeing your 4 beat rhythm patterns. The activity for this week focuses on melodic skills. Please remember to complete your work through the google music classroom, not the website.
I can't wait to hear from you!

Great work on your melodic skills this week. I saw some impressive scores!
Check out the Instruments of the Orchestra "Lost At Sea' music escape room! To play this "escape room," you'll explore a 360 image, look for tasks and complete them. You will need to fill out the Google form with your answers to escape.
Keep working hard.
May 4-8
May The Fourth (Force) Be With You.
Thank you for working through the difficulties we had with the 'Escape Room'. I am so glad most of you escaped and are still not 'Lost at Sea'.
In honour of May 4th, the activity this week is based on the main Stars Theme by John Williams. Have fun!
May 11-15
The task for this week is a listening activity. It is a song that I think might be appropriate to think about now called "Don't Worry Be Happy". There are 2 versions of the song. Have a listen to see how they are the same and different. I can't wait to hear from you.
This week you are going to have some fun creating a song with a program called 'Incredibox'. It is a form of 'beatboxing'. 'Incredibox' features a group of 'singers'. You can add or remove and control their sounds to create a song. You will be pasting a link at the end of the slides like you have done with other assignments. Don't forget to turn in your work. I can't wait to hear your creations.
Hope you have fun!

Welcome to our last music task for this school year! This week you will be going on a safari adventure to find the lost instruments of the orchestra. I had started this game with many of my music classes but did not get a chance to finish it with you. I know that this game was something you were enjoying so I thought I would provide the link for you to play at home. You can either play “Local Game “ or "Register for Free" to be able to play on any device and pick up where you leave off.
There is nothing to submit this week! Your task is to have fun!!! Click on the link to get started.
