The New Year rolls around once more,
No one knows just what's in store,
Horns and bells ring out at night
As the old year passes out of sight.
Resolutions, big and small
Are made to last at least till fall.
To listen, to learn, and try our best
To study hard for every test.
To work at home, our folks to please
Brothers and sisters no more to tease.
At least for January I will try
To live each day as it goes by!
