It's a French music video competition modelled after the March Madness tournament, with over 3000 schools around the world taking part! Check out the songs HERE. Ask your child what their favourite song is and get them to tell you why they like it, en français of course!

Students used the malls they created to role-play conversations about shopping. They are able to ask where they can buy an item they're looking for, ask for directions to a particular store, and complete a transaction inside a store. They should review all resources in Google Classroom and their notebooks in preparation for the unit quiz on February 25th.

Our shopping unit has started with lots of vocabulary related to stores and prepositions to describe where each store is located in a mall. We've started the year with lots of review of greeting, alphabet, colours, numbers, days of the week, months of the year, prepositions, clothing, animals, body parts, food, question words and directions. Students have reference pages with all of this information at the front of their "cahiers" that they can use throughout the year.
