In our class we use the UFLI program for learning to read and spell. UFLI Foundations is a reading program that helps children learn the basic skills they need to become strong readers. It teaches these skills step-by-step, in a clear and organized way, so kids can build confidence and read more easily.
The program is available online for you to explore. It includes helpful links and resources for parents. Please note that UFLI Foundations was developed in the United States, so links or references will reflect American education standards.
Please read the document to the right to learn how to use the half-page notes sent home every Monday. It explains how you can use the it to support your child’s learning throughout the week.
