Mindfulness is a mental exercise of purposely bringing one's attention to experiences occurring in the present moment. You can develop your ability to calm and focus your mind through the practice of mindfulness. Practising your mind's ability to focus on the present can help you gain healthy perspective on thoughts, fears, and emotions that may be worrying you too much. Try some of these exercises, or links. Practising these techniques regularly even when you feel emotionally healthy can help you build strategies for when you may be sad or low in energy.
