Touchcast in a nutshell:

• Log in using .gotvdsb accounts

• Start from Scratch

• Tap Effects

• Then tap Green Screen

• On the right-hand side of the screen, pick the video icon or the picture icon

  • you can select a video that you have already saved in your Google Drive for the background or choose one of the videos preloaded in Touchcast OR

  • you can include a picture from your Google Drive, select one of the pictures in Touchcast, or search Flickr to find the appropriate background

• Record

• Done

• Export Touchcast: give it a name and save it to Camera Role

• You can then upload the video from the iPad's camera role to your Google Drive

  • From there, you can download it to your s: drive to put into Movie Maker

  • Or you can use iMovie on the iPad to finish the video
