Cricut Help
The Cricut machine and Easy Press heat press are available for students and staff to use. There is a fee for the materials, unless you provide your own. See Mrs. Martin if you have any questions.
Cricut and Heat Press
1. Design your project at design.cricut.com (see below). This program is free to download (which means you can design your project at home); you need an account in order to use the program (see below). See the help sheets on this site or in the Learning Commons.
2. Pay for the materials you need with cash in the Learning Commons or through School Cash Online. See the price list on this site or posted in the Learning Commons. You can also provide your own materials.
3. Once you show proof of payment, cut your project!
4. Use the Easy Press if necessary to complete your project.

When you're ready to attach the iron-on vinyl to your t-shirt or canvas or whatever you're using, go to https://cricut.com/heatguide

if you're not sure what heat-transfer material you are using, check the package or see Mrs. Gill
be sure to check Cricut Easy Press mat before clicking Apply
Follow the instructions carefully (remember that most materials need a quick pre-press before applying the iron-on).

Easy Press Instructions
Power Cricut EasyPress ON.
Set timer and temperature.
Use the Heat Transfer Guide to determine project settings.
Press timer, then use +/- buttons to set recommended time.
Press temperature, then use +/- buttons to set recommended temperature.
Orange light means it's heating up. Green light means temperature has been reached. Beep sounds when it's ready.
Use extreme caution. Machine operates at high temperatures that can caused burns.
Preheat base material. Place Cricut EasyPress on fabric for recommended time.
Position design. Make sure shiny side (clear liner) is facing up.
Apply heat to both sides.
Place Cricut EasyPress on , then press Cricut button to start timer.
Hold Cricut EasyPress in place and apply recommended pressure until it beeps.
Flip base material, and heat back side of design for recommended time.
Before removing liner, refer to the Heat Transfer Guide to determine the peel temperature — warm or cold.
