This is an opportunity for students to begin their apprentiships while they are in high school. If you are headed to the skilled trades - and there are many - you can begin to collect experience and hours toward your field, while you are a student in high school.

TVDSB OFFERS OYAP LEVEL 1 certification program every year in semester 2. It is a competitive program and is highly sought after. If you have completed the required courses for your OSSD and can allow a 4 credit coop in your timetable, this is an excellent opportunity. Successful applicants are placed in an all day coop for Feb, March and April and for May and June you attend Fanshawe for the level 1 training. Applications have now closed for the 2024 year, but here are the courses offered for future planning:
