What is Coop? 

 Coop is experiential learning! In grade 11 and 12 you can select a coop in your schedule at registration time. In my Blueprint you will select GWL30D in the Coop category.  In a regular semester system, coop  takes your learning into the community for 2 periods a day. This is a chance for you to have real life experience in a field of your choice! At Laurier, we have placed students in every field imaginable from farming to a science lab, to construction,  the food industry and law firms. If you dream it we will try and help make it happen for you! 

*If you belong to any SHSM program at Laurier - (Construction, Manufacturing or SHSM Sport) you will need at least 2 coop credits. 

*If you want to start your apprenticeship in high school, your coop hours count - TVDSB staff can help with that.
