Jason Jamieson is a multi-instrumentalist who performs regularly with groups throughout Southwestern Ontario. He is the current manager and lead trombonist of the London Jazz Orchestra and has performed with l'Orchestre Symphonique du Montreal, the National Arts Centre Orchestra, Festival de Lanaudiere, the Lakeshore Concert Band, Encore: The Concert Band, the Western University Symphony Orchestra, the Baddest Big Band, Basically Basie Big Band, Primetime Big Band, the Moonlighters Big Band, the Dykehoppers, The London Rhythm and Soul Revue, A Taste of Sinatra, and many more. He has also completed recordings with l'Orchestre Symphonique du Montreal, A Taste of Sinatra Big Band, Lakeshore Concert Band, Chris Casserly, and others.
Besides teaching and performing in the area, Jason is also a lifelong learner with interests in fostering creativity in students, examining culturally responsive relevant pedagogy, and improving learning conditions for students in the Thames Valley District School Board.
He is also an avid (though unskilled) golfer, runner, and gamer.
