Dual Credit
What is Dual Credit?
Area colleges are pleased to offer Grade 12 students the opportunity to enroll in college-level courses during the Fall and Winter semesters under the School to College to Work Initiative (SCWI) project. This unique arrangement allows post-secondary bound students the chance to experience life and learning at the college level.
Students are expected to be enrolled as full-time Grade 11 or 12 students. The primary focus is on students who have the potential to succeed at the college level but are at risk of not graduating from high school. The secondary focus is on students who are looking for post-secondary and/or career exploration.
