Course CHANGES 2026-2027

Valid reasons to request a change

1. 1. You do not have the prerequisite course.

   2. You have already earned the credit.

   3. You have an unresolved timetable conflict.

   4. You have a sequencing problem. (for example - grade 11 math in semester 1 and grade 10 math in semester 2)

   5. You have a change in your pathway and you now require a different course. You must indicate your new pathway.

   6. Your summer school plan changed and you need to adjust your schedule accordingly.

   7. You need a specific course to graduate.

   8. Requests to have a different teacher or be with a friend or a desired spare time will not be honoured.

Process 

1. Review your timetable through the student and / or the parent portal.

2. Discuss your changes with your parent / guardian and obtain their approval.

1. Review the school timetable to ensure that what you are asking to change is possible and offered when you need it.

2. Complete the course change request form. (Aug 31 - Sept 14)

3. Guidance counsellors will honour the order in which requests are made and will place students on a waitlist if the class is full. Please check your student portal to view timetable changes. Students must continue to follow their current schedule until the change can officially been made.
