Mark Increase Request Form

Graduating students only,


Please read the criteria carefully. Only fill out the form if you qualify by Thursday June 27th 5pm


Any graduating student who requires up to 1% mark increase for the following reasons may submit this form by Wednesday, June 27 at 5:00 pm. This means you will need to contact your teachers to check final marks on June 27 to see if it is necessary to submit the form.


Reasons to complete form:

1. missing your required entrance average by up to 1% (this could be in one course or overall)

2. missing out on the next level of scholarship by 1% maximum

Note: completing this form does NOT mean you will automatically receive a mark bump.  This is a request that will be reviewed by the administration team. 

In Person Visits from Colleges and Universities

Students are welcome to attend the "In Person" visits from university and college recruitment officers from Sept to Nov.  Most presentations take place at lunch.  Please arrive at the start of lunch for the presentations.  If a presentation is outside of lunch time, please sign up in guidance at least a day in advance and pick up your ticket to have signd by your teacher to attend.

*All offers/refusals sent out by universities by: May, 29, 2024

*Students must confirm/decline their offer by: June 3 (Deposit may also be due at this time for registration/residence.)

*Fee to apply: https://www.ouac.on.ca/fees/#app-fees ($156 for 3 choices + $50 for each subsequent choice. May only select up to 3 programs at any one university.)

Institutions Outside of Ontario - Applications

*For institutions within Canada - visit the website for each university/college directly to apply (note: for some universities, marks can be sent to the universities by providing them with your OUAC reference # (which you will receive after applying in Ontario)/ All post secondary institutions outside of Ontario have their own deadlines and fees to apply!

*For international institutions - visit their websites directly to apply.  Note: each college/university will have an international admissions officer to guide you. All post secondary institutions have their own deadlines and fees to apply!

*Applying to the United States of America- many institutions use the Common App.  Visit https://www.commonapp.org  The deadline to the link to your counsellor to complete is November 1.

*SAT/ACT standardized tests - these may be required if you are applying to the United States or to an international post-secondary institution.  Visit: https://www.collegeboard.org for test dates, practice info and test locations. You may write the test as many times as you wish.  Writing it a minimum of two times is recommended.

*For athletes considering the US- make sure you register with the NCAA eligibility centre and that you provide your guidance counsellor with your NCAA# so that your transcripts may be sent to the centre for review https://web3.ncaa.org/ecwr3/  You will also want to ask your guidance counsellor to review your credits for NCAA eligibility.

*If you are interested in completing a Level I apprenticeship in your gr 12 year, please see your guidance counsellor ASAP. You must have all of your compulsory credits completed by the end of semester 1. Applications must be submitted by November 8, 2023.
